Readyset Cloud

• Revamped BYO VPC Workflow as BYOA (Bring Your Own AWS Account). Now offering a more hands-off experience with direct deployment to customer AWS accounts, while still supporting VPCs with manual peering for added security.
• Added Cluster Cost Reporting to provide daily exports for cluster and infrastructure costs, enabling better tracking and optimization of cloud spending.
• Added support for Cache Creation and Restoration. The “always” attribute allows for persistent caches, and deleted caches can be restored if a corresponding proxied query exists.
• Improved Table Replication with an enhanced workflow for tracking table additions and removals with global cache consistency and UI warnings when dropping tables or initiating resets.
• Added a Hard Reset Capability that wipes EBS volumes and restarts Readyset, with safeguards to prevent accidental misuse on demo clusters.

Readyset Core

• Added case sensitivity support for MySQL lookup data, respecting the collation case sensitivity, ensuring more accurate query results.
• Added metrics for QueryStatusCache improving visibility into system behavior.
• Optimized cache evictions so they are now more frequent but smaller, reducing spikes in upquery latency.
• Resolved regression issues in parsing the UNIQUE KEY() USING syntax, improving MySQL query compatibility.
• Improved handling of very large result sets (100,000s of rows) for both Postgres and MySQL.
